Who Studies Whom
csh_logo

Much of the research on the sustainable development goals has had a regional focus, with studies often examining specific continents, countries, or states. This regional focus can lead to bias and inequality between regions which receive the majority of attention and regions which do not.

The visualization shows: which regions receive most attention, and which regions are more studying others than self?

How to explore: hover the places on the map, zoom or rotate the map.

Legend

place B

thicker line = more studies

a place that receives attention from elsewhere

larger size = more attention

color = studies others v.s self

more self
more others

no studies known from here
