It visualizes the sports clubs and districts in Austria. Each point on the map shows the location of one sports club. The color of each sports club is indicated by the "Marginal children per €1,000." The color of the administrative unit (counting district/district) describes the number of children who are members of a sports club in the respective unit. Whether those are given in total numbers (the number of children who are members of a sports club in the respective district) or relative values (percentage of children) is determined by the slider in the legend.
By default, it shows soccer; a sports type selector on the top allows you to choose other types of sports.
Toggle the legend on the left to find out more about the visualization.
Mouse over a club marker or a district polygon on the map to see the particular number.

How to simulate?

Click confirm button to see the result.
A list showing on the top-right is for you to manage your selection and budget. Once confirm the new budget input, the model will calculate how many children these sports clubs are expected to add, and the map will update accordingly.
How to select clubs?
Click a club from the map, or search to add,
or search a Bezirk to add all clubs under it,
or click a polygon from the map to add all clubs inside (not available for football),
or use drawing tool on the bottom-left to draw a polygon and select clubs inside.
How to manage clubs?
In the list, click in front of the club to delete it from the list,
or click on the right side delete all the selection at once.
How to manage budgets?
Input a total budget, it will automatically evenly distribute to each selected clubs,
or edit budget for the individual club, it will automatically calculate the total amount based on the new input.
Club
Locationis given on the website of each club. For ASKÖ, ASVÖ and Sportunion, the location is retrieved from the respective club searches (ASKÖ, ASVÖ, Sportunion); for the ASVÖ, the location is only known on a district level, for the other ones, the adress of the club is known.

Marginal Children per €1.000is calculated by the model using the current budget.

Counting district/district
Boundaries of counting districts/districts are available from Statistik Austria. For the OEFB the number of members per countin district is estimated via a gravity law. For ASKÖ, ASVÖ and Union the members per district is calculated as the sum of all sports clubs in the respective district
